Mania da Samba
Ever wondered how you play samba drums? Well you don’t have to wonder anymore!
With Mania da Samba you will learn how to play different types of drums, from the big Surdo’s to the small tamborims. You will also learn different drumming techniques, and a diversity of rhythms and drumming styles associated with the sounds of Brazil!
Mania da Samba has been running since April 2008 and has become a very successful project; it is open for all young people and community members in Blaenau Gwent.
In May this year Mania da Samba were asked to play at the Macmillan Cancer Fashion show, the show was hosted by Jeff Banks.
